From hunter-gatherers to Romans, and from medieval inns to the farms of the first settlers: during Historisch Foodfest, you will discover how food was prepared, preserved, and gathered throughout the ages.
What if you had to provide your own food every single day? How did the Romans feed their armies in these parts? When did new crops first appear on the land? And what did a set table look like a hundred, a thousand, or even two thousand years ago?
