A bit of history...
Tourist Info Services was founded in the 1980s by Jeanne Peters. It all began with an unusual approach: Jeanne Peters hand-drew a map of all the ski slopes in the Belgian Ardennes, with the aim of promoting them through various media such as newspapers and radio, to the residents of Maastricht and its surroundings. This marked the beginning of a great adventure and the birth of Tourist Info Services.
...Today
After being carried forward by Jeanne Peters and her daughters, Katja and Sandra, Tourist info services continues on its path. The initiative is taken over by Jeanne's grandson, Malik. Tourist info services is expanding, modernising, and now offers more services and a wider scope of action.

Creativity
Innovation is born from boldness and curiosity. At Tourist Info Services, we constantly explore new approaches to enhance tourism and create unique experiences. Whether in communication, tourism development, or partnerships, we prioritise original solutions tailored to each audience, for an ever-stronger and more memorable impact.
Human engagement
At Tourist info services, and since its creation by Jeanne, human commitment is much more than just a value; it is our very essence. We firmly believe in the importance of authentic relationships, based on trust, understanding, and mutual respect. Every interaction with our partners and clients is imbued with this human-centred approach, where every voice is heard, every need is understood, and every commitment is honoured with dedication and sincerity.
Accessibility
Tourism should be an open door for everyone. We strive to make information clear, to adapt the routes, and to promote an inclusive tourism offer, designed for all desires and all profiles. Because discovery should never have limits, but be a pleasure designed for all.
Durability
Preserve today to better welcome tomorrow. We integrate sustainability into every project: promoting soft mobility, valuing local initiatives, raising awareness of more respectful tourism. We believe in tourism that enriches without impoverishing, that inspires without distorting.
Innovation
The world is evolving, and so is tourism. We anticipate new trends, explore emerging technologies, and continuously adapt our strategies to provide modern and effective solutions. Digitalisation, new communication formats, unprecedented synergies… we move forward, always with a head start.
Intermediation
We are the link between tourism stakeholders and their audience, as well as between the stakeholders themselves. Through our network and expertise, we facilitate meetings, collaborations, and exchanges. Our role? To highlight the resources, initiatives, and opportunities to create a positive and enriching dynamic among all partners of the Euregio Meuse-Rhin+.
