You are warmly invited to an artist talk with artist Theresa Weber, whose textile work in the foyer opens the exhibition “Being (In-)Between”. In an open conversation with curator Sena-Marie Cirit, the artist offers insights into her artistic practice, discussing identity, anti-colonialism, cultural memory, and how in-between spaces become visible and tangible in her work.

You are warmly invited to an artist talk with artist Theresa Weber, whose textile work in the foyer marks the opening of the exhibition “Being (In-)Between”.

In an open conversation with curator Sena-Marie Cirit, the artist offers insights into her artistic practice, discussing identity, anti-colonialism, cultural memory, and how in-between spaces become visible and tangible in her work.

Theresa Weber (1996, Düsseldorf) studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and the Royal College of Art in London. In her interdisciplinary works, she combines various materials with personal and collective narratives. Her installations open new perspectives on representation, visibility, and historical narratives.

This artist talk is part of the accompanying program to the exhibition “Being (In-)Between”, on view at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum until August 10, 2025.
