Aachen’s biggest sandbox will be set up from June 26 to August 19 between the cathedral and city hall. The urban furniture built by children during the holiday play program will be presented today — and then it’s party time for everyone!
For the 10th time, the Archimedean Sandbox by Future Lab Aachen is back!
Children from the holiday program have crafted creative urban furniture from carbon concrete, now ready for everyone to try out.
Kids will be casting small concrete artworks live at Katschhof, a talk session will focus on sustainable construction, and a DJ and drinks will bring good vibes and beach feeling!
