  of rarely shown works from public and private collections\, the exhibitio
 n reveals a painter who makes the simplest moments resonate: an interior b
 athed in silence\, a landscape crossed by light\, a suspended gesture. Jus
 t like Maurice Pirenne and Georges Le Brun\, Derchain is classified among 
 the Verviers Intimists\, in reference to their shared aesthetic where the 
 silence of interiors\, the tranquility of landscapes\, and the meticulousn
 ess of gestures reign. An invitation to enter the intimate and rediscover 
 a regional artistic treasure that is still very relevant. A scenography ha
 s been specially designed for children + games to request at the museum re
